This hotel is located close to Yogyakarta train station and to restaurants and shops in the city main avenue. Inside there is a very nice garden where breakfast is served at your room door. Staff are very helpful. The rooms are clean and have wall frescos, but the bathrooms could use some improvements.

I had the pleasure of staying here for 2 nights, it was clean, safe and central with ATMs, restaurants, and Malioboro street (great for shopping!) all within walking distance of the hotel. Location is excellent and all is close to this hotel: railway station, shopping(+mall),restaurants, spa's etc. The alley, where Malam 1001 is located, is lovely, quiet and idyllic. Airport pick up was very well organised. Hotel also arranges trips to tourist attractions by car for reasonable prices. Bicycles can be rented nearby at Cecko's for $2.5/12 hours.
