If you are travelling through Java, build in a stay at d'Omah in Yogyakarta. Wonderful old Javanese ambiance but brilliantly presented. Fabulous food and restaraunt with service and staff First Class. Located out of town (a plus) but who cares when the taxi fares are so cheap.
