We stayed for 3 nights and loved the relaxing and chilled atmosphere of the hotel. Taxi takes approx. 20 mins. to reach Yogya center. Great food and very helpfull staff. Perfect experience incl. morning prayers, but they did not manage to wake us....

D'moah, Yogyakarta, truly is idyllic -- in the midst of rice fields -- village-like-homes -- ambience, so truly village-like. And the owner's (not managers | from office boys etc) available (Who's a kinda local celebrity). Nice meats (vegans stay away). Contrary to most reviews, the place lacks infrastructural hygiene. The most important -- air conditioning. Because of large, village-like rooms,... More

While I gave it 4 stars, I would certainly come back. It's beautiful, idyllic, relaxing. The food: I liked some dishes, others less (I had a whole fish that was wonderfully prepared; I had a chicken dish that was somewhat dull); the breakfast is fine: Indonesian, Western options; fresh fruit. The location: as said by many - yes, mosque(s) can... More

My husband and I spent a week at a nearby guesthouse. This little hotel's restaurant was a real godsend as we were able to have very nice food at a reasonable price in a lovely setting. The staff were great and all spoke enough English to help us out. The food is varied - my favorite was the Vietnamese summer... More

If you are travelling through Java, build in a stay at d'Omah in Yogyakarta. Wonderful old Javanese ambiance but brilliantly presented. Fabulous food and restaraunt with service and staff First Class. Located out of town (a plus) but who cares when the taxi fares are so cheap.

8 km outside Yogya in the village of Tembi. It is built up like a little village, small houses with just a couple of rooms in each, little pools here and there, lovely sit-outs,a little river, ducks, peacocks and doves walking around. We loved our room-spacious and cozy, with oldfashion javanese furniture and baticfabric on the walls instead of wallpaper.. The significance of Dómah is "... More

I stayed in compound 4 out of 6(?) compounds. It was a very short walk from the main hotel area, set in the heart of the village, in it's own beautifully tended gardens. Just two steps from my back door was the small, private pool which was a true delight to swim in at anytime. The room was truly spacious,... More

D'Omah jogja is THE place to enjoy your long week end. traditionally designed villas, waking up to the sound of nature, the richness of paintings hanging in the walls & other antique/artwork and best tasting Indonesian food! The view of surrounding village by biking trips was beautiful. Jogging around the area was very refreshing. My favorite time is breakfast, lunch... More

This hotel is nestled in a small village called Tembi, on the outskirts of Yogyakarta . The moment we arrived I was amazed! Rice field across the street, many places on the property to explore. We stayed in the Senar room and were very pleased. Clean, beautiful Javanese architecture, history, AC, outdoor shower, tranquil ponds, nice pools, art gallery. A... More
