I went here with my wife in January 2010. In the reservation we requested for a hotelroom with a nice view of the city. Our request was heard and on arrival we ended up on the 9th floor and had a great view of the city. The breakfast was good and there were some local dishes and western dishes as well. The location is close to downtown Jakarta and takes appr. 10 minutes by taxi. The bluebird taxi's (the ones you can use without any hassle) are lined up in front of the hotel. Another positive thing is that there is a small mall right next to the hotel were you can go to the supermarket and do some shopping for for reasonable prices. The food in the hotel itself is quite expensive. A glass of wine cost about $12usd and our experience is that the wine was not fresh at all. In general the staff speaks reasonable English, enough to accommodate you with a pleasant stay in the hotel. We enjoyed our stay and for the roomrates/location we will come back for sure.
