We stayed here for 6 weeks in 2010, the hotel is a little way out of town but close enough to Plaza & Grand Indonesia and other famous landmarks!
The grounds surrounding this hotel are lovely beautiful gardens and i believe it has the largest hotel swimming pool in Jakarta. HOWEVER the rooms are VERY tired and need a major...

I stayed twice in a club room at the hotel for business, and found the rooms spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The personalized club room service is excellent; the lodge on the 18th floor provides great additions (breakfast, tea, cocktails) with a nice view., wifi, and comfortable chairs. The Indonesia restaurant is also quite good, and the pastry shop is...

Stayed there for two times in February and May. I felt really comfortable, the room quite tidy and clean. The lobby is average, but the restaurant is very good. Having dinner there, near the pool with BBQ was great enough to relax my body and soul.
One thing should be considered in Borobudur is the "sop buntut" or oxtail soup....

Our family helped us to check-in and out the room for us, so we have nothing to share about it.
The hotel is located in the historic area of Jakarta with all Dutch colonial buildings within walking distance.
The room is quite comfortable although it was a little outdated. It seems that the room has undergone some renovation in recent...

I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel. The rooms were large and clean with a large bathroom. Fast in-room internet and cable TV. There are a few different restaurants to choose from (watch out during Ramadan because the restaurant hours are limited). There is a very nice gym and a running train on the grounds along with a 50 meter...

We always stayed in the lovely renovated Classic room, Pool is Olympic size massive, gardens is still nice, breakfast is ok, their legendary soup buntut is always recommended, for the value, Borobudur is still a nice choice to stay

I was staying at the hotel to attend some business meetings arranged in the Hotel. The restaurants and public rooms seemed to be keeping pace, service was quite acceptable, however the hotel bedrooms I am afraid have seen better days and are showing distinct signs of wear, questionable taste and budget constraints. Location too, whilst central conspired to be essentially...

I would give this 5 star hotel a 4 star rating as no major wow factor but all in all good value, great dining(although breakfast limited), front desk very helpful and knowledgeable.
Only complain internet rates are too high and needs FREE WIFI as well as iron and ironing board in the rooms.

we stayed here during the recent end of Ramadan holiday and the hotel was full. Nevertheless they coped completely with the huge crowds. The pool and gym is beautiful, the staff so friendly, rooms excellent, clean with a magnificent view over the pool. It was easy to get there from the airport as everyone was on holiday but I'm told...
