I stayed here on a business trip. The whole hotel was well maintained with large rooms and a very comfortable bed with an array of pillows. The outside grounds were so beautiful. The restaurants were very good as well. They search every car and seem attentive to people entering the hotel. This is of amid the concerns here in Jakarta. More

We went as a business delegation of 60 people. Not one of us had a single hitch or complaint. All 5star hotels offer excellent breakfast buffets but this hotel was extra generous even by their standards. The conference room and the efficient service they rendered was a pleasure. Stayed at Shagri La for 9 days from Jan. 13 to 22nd great staff, wonderful hotel. Try BATS Bar in the basement; most rocking bar in Jakarta excellent Australian band. Tell Nonie the manager Sean sent you...great service cant say enough....with most of th ebig hotels in Jakarta lots of security but the staff could not be more polite. More

Great rooms, good food, nice pool. The service was a little stiff and not always prompt, but no serious problems. Would stay again if someone else were paying. More

For business travellers the executive floor is highly recommended with very polite and helpful staff and plenty of snacks. Room was a generous size and very comfortable night's sleep, quiet and well conditioned. Restaurants quite pricey but good quality Good gym, spa treatments need early booking which was a nuisance when nothing was available at short notice. Very good security... More
