This was my third stay at this hotel and I was very happy with the service and the hotel generally. Only downside is that there is no WiFi in the rooms.

The rooms are excellent and very spacious even for China. Very modern with all facilities that you would expect in a Sofitel property. The bathroom is spacious and well stocked. The breakfast spread is excellent and good quality. Overall a very comfortable stay.

This Sofitel was one of the weakest on our China trip.
The hotel is located some 20-minute walk fron the lake, which was convenient for us.
It started with the check-in process, which was rather long, mostly because the receptionist tried her best to SELL me an upgrade, while I was entitled to get an upgrade for being A|Club Platinum....

Long overdue revue. Stayed three nights in an executive room. Have an Advantage Plus card with Accor and made the booking when there was an Accor promotion.

Rooms: nice, spacious and clean rooms with well-lit and airy bathroom.
Room service Hainanese chicken rice was surprisingly good - it was the real McCoy i.e. the proper original Malaysian/Singaporean quality rather than the copy that passes for "Hainanese chicken rice" that so often appears in other Mainland Chinese hotels.
