Good hotel with a nice south island location. The subway station is close by and is the best way to move around the islands. Clean room, nice services (like the free bus to the Metro station).

I picked the Ramada Hong Kong because I received the impression that it had easy access to the MTR and I was familiar with the Ramada brand.
I arrived in HK and took the airport express to the HK Station and took the taxi to the Ramada. Check in was quick. The room was small but clean. The room had...

I had to cancel my trip due to hospitalisation of my mother. They charged me one night penalty of $1057 even though I had notified them beforehand by telephone 3 days prior to arrival that I had to cancel my trip and they took the money from my card there and then. I subsequently obtained a letter from the hospital...

For our first trip to Hong Kong, we were looking for a decent hotel that fit our budget. Ramada Hong Kong met the requirements.
Location wise, I would rate this hotel pretty high - there is easy access to cabs and trams, while MTR stations and the Airport Express station are not too far away.
Our room was on the...

This Ramada is at the top end of quality for the chain. Staff are efficient and attentive. The location is problematic with no easy access to the MTR. The cafe serves an average buffet breakfast. Rooms are spacious and clean. Views over the water are great! Pillows are rock-hard!
I'd read the reviews on TripAdvisor, and was prepared for the older style decor, big tube TV in the room etc. And actually it wasn't as bad as I had envisaged. Room was clean, apart from a couple of black hairs attached to the shower door. Towels and bedding is functional rather than luxurious, but as this is one of...

This was my first visit to Hong Kong so it's quite difficult to judge the quality of this hotel against others in the city. It certainly feels a little dated.
Before mentioning anything else I have to state that the one big problem for me was that the hotel doesn't have heating. I stayed there at the end of February...

I wouldn't stay here again if you paid me. The place is wired so no wifi networks works except their own over priced system. In-room wifi you pay for is 10% signal strength and frequently no signal - that's after paying for an over priced card. Frustrated guests sit in the lobby trying to contact the outside world. I was...

Old decoration No free wifi in the bedroom: you have to pay to have it, otherwise, you have to stay in the lobby...
This is an old hotel that really needs some renovation works but it is an affordable hotel.
It is not near any MTR station but they have a free shuttle bus that takes you to Sheung Wan MTR station/ Macau Ferry terminal and to the airport express at IFC Mall. IFC Mall is also near the Star Ferry Pier that...
