Hong Kong isn't cheap and if you would like to avoid the backpacker haunts, the YWCA is one option. It also isn't cheap, but for the price, you get a decent room with a good location.

Liked: my room (size, cleanliness), my view (of the park), the price Didn't like: various interactions with the staff who didn't share the common sentiment that "the customer is always right"

centrally located at midlevel of the hongkong city. economical for tourists as all tourist destinations are very well connected by sight seeing bus,train and taxies. peaceful,neat and comfertable. in fact there were one bed room and a drawing room which i never expected, both having a lcd tv each.

dt : 10 oct 2009 we have seen this hotel location by tripadvisor and booked this hotel because of it's location and good hotel rate as compared to others hotel rate. it is very well situated with good ventilation. it is like a hostel with common bathroom. Facilities are medium. services are normal.
