The hotel has an impressive choice of the award winning and Michelin Recommended restaurants including Sabatini Ristorante Italiano, Shikigiku Japanese restaurant, The Royal Garden Chinese Restaurant, The Greenery, Dong Lai Shun, Le Soleil and J'Bar. Overlooking Victoria Harbour, the roof-top Mediterranean style Sky Club provides top quality leisure facilities including a 25 meter heated swimming pool and a Jacuzzi (open daily from 06:30 - 22:00hrs), Massage and 24 hours Gym.

Excellent Hotel. Great staff. Well located in downtown Hong kong. Close to the cruise harbour. It took about 40 minutes from the airport in a taxi We arrived in early morning after an extremely long flight, exhausted. Our luggage plus a folding walker were unloaded and handled very competently. We had paid a bit extra for an executive room and were immediately taken to a separate check in lounge and then to our pleasant room where we gratefully collapsed into a very comfortable bed. Our room was exactly as pictured with great view of downtown Hong Kong and after a good sleep and a hot shower we were ready for dinner. It was a Sunday evening and we explored the various possibilities on offer. They had 5 restaurants, Italian, Japanese , Chinese, Western and Vegetarian as well as a magnificent buffet in the glorious atrium . The buffet was busy but immense so we couldn't resist. No international cuisine was unrepresented. The variety was great fun and the staff were wonderfully efficient. The wine list was international and reasonable. There were many large groups and it was obviously a favourite spot for Family celebrations. The next day we were boarding a cruise ship but not until the afternoon. We had requested a late checkout which we gratefully received. Breakfast was included in our room rate so we returned to the buffet. Again, the choice was daunting. English, American, European, Chinese, Japanese, Indian, Malaysian and more, traditional breakfast dishes, many prepared to order. They also had a Hong Kong breakfast which was interesting. Many of the dishes seemed more like dinner offerings and on top of that there were the beautiful displays of fruit, cheese, breads, rolls and pastries as well as fresh vegetables, salads and desserts. We were kindly guided through this bewildering abundance of choices by the amazing Becky, the Maitre D. Her good humoured expertise made this an event to remember.

I have an excellent 1.5 hrs Stress Release massage in their Sky Club Spa today. My therapist Paula is wonderful and with great techniques, she knows exactly where my tensions are and how to release them. My friend's therapist is Nicole, my friend said she is great too, she completely relieved my friend's shoulder and neck discomforts. Tea and Royal Garden signature butterfly cookies are served in the resting room after the massage. Then we are guided for the Crown Club afternoon tea to end the day. Spa facilities like steam and sauna are available for use before the massage though I don't have enough time to try this time. Places are clean and cosy and staff are helpful and polite. An overall very satisfying experience. Highly recommended.

After a 13 hour flight, the bed was so welcoming, I slept like a log. The room was a good size, the bed HUGE and the partial view of the harbour superb! Plenty of tea and coffee and TV which was larger than mine at home! I didn't eat in the dining rooms in the evening, but he breakfast buffet was plentiful and the serving staff very attentive. One of the restaurant managers, Becky Tsang, was cheerful and happy no matter what! Her exuberance and laughter filled the dining room and was infectious; you couldnt help but join in with her. She was particularly helpful when it came to finding a tailor to repair and shorten my jeans. Instead of trekking up to Jordan, where I had previously been advised to go, she told me there was a good tailor that she used right opposite the hotel! They did a fantastic job! This was my second visit to this hotel and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again when I return to Hong Kong!

Pro 1. Great Location. Walking distance to downtown. 2. Nice Staff. Big thanks to front desk Loren who speaks well Mandarin, thoughtful, patient and very willing to help. 3. Full equipped gym. Con 1. Noise. Since the hotel restaurants located in the middle of all the guest rooms, loud noises is expected during daytime. 2. Room cleanliness needs to be improved. 3. Small lobby and complex elevator floor control.

Beautiful hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui not far from the metro station (10 min). The employees are very professional if not very smiling. The restaurants and lobby are very luxurious. If you opted for the standard room don't expect the ssame luxury though. The rooms are OK but many details don't match the 5 stars standing. Windows are not very isolated from outside noise and someyomes you get noise from the inside of the hotel. Pipes are very noisy too. The bathroom is OK although the shower head was kind of moldy and the finition of the ceiling was not good. Although the room was comfortable these details don't match the 5 stars standing. As to the services of swimming pool, spa and gym they were excellent. The spa is small but luxurious and comfortable. There is no steaming bath at the men's side though. As a conclusion, Royal Garden appeared slightly overpriced for the main element of the stay: the room.
