Hotel is fairly modern, room a good size for solo male guest. Smoking room was a plus. only problem was the bed. It was rock solid, every time I went to lay on it it felt like I was on a slab of concrete. Staff were a pleasure, very helpful in organising my ferry ride to Macau. Would stay here... More

First time traveling to Hong Kong and my friend booked this hotel. Why do call this party hotel as the street is fulled with bars, pubs and discos. It wasn't noisy at all but it was definitely a fun place to stay for party goers. You can read my full review http://www.placesandfoods.com/2011/04/guang-dong-hotel-review-hong-kong.html

Very basic rooms, staff not too friendly either. The neighboring Park Hotel is much better and almost similar pricing. The lifts are in bad shape , rooms very tiny. In the past i have stayed a couple of times at the park. Its significantly better and more value for money.

We stayed here during a quick trip in HK. Its pretty close (around 3 blocks) from the sub-way and about a 15 minute walk from the harbour and temple street night market. Some really good street food across the street as well. Not quite the 4 star experience but I would go back again.,

This hotel was one of the cheapest, and they are able to do this by cutting some corners. The carpets and bathroom is a little "tired" but otherwise it was perfectly good enough. The location is great, it's right in the middle of a little hub of nightlife, really close to public transport, and shopping. Really easy to get to... More

Prat Street is a great location in Tsim Sha Tsui and this hotel was opposite Butterfly on Prat hotel. Butterfly would have blown our budget so we opted for what we thought was a deluxe room for 3 single women - a queen and 2 singles. We got a so-called deluxe which was very small, with a rollaway bed at... More

Traveling solo to HK for the first time was rather nerve-wrecking and the location of this hotel wasn't at all ideal, for a really young female solo traveler. Located right next to the a club which operates late into the night and stories of fights breaking out, makes this place somewhat not ideal. However, the place is rather huge and... More

Stayed here with my wife and son for just a night. The hotel has changed a lot since the last time I saw it about 20 years ago (used to stay at nearby Park hotel on Chatham with my family and would pass by this hotel). I booked the room through their website and requested for a queen sized bed,... More

Hotel was in good location with friendly helpful staff. Beds were clean and reasonably comfortable. Room was spacious (for HK), however the floor had not been vacuumed properly (or at all) which was a shame as all else was good.
