a truely nice place! if you go on your own you can book the standard room if you are a couple take deluxe or studio. the standard rooms bed is app 1,20m wide. i would not know where to put 2 suitcases in that tiny room. another tip: bring adaptor! no plugs - even not for shavers- are provided!

First of all, this is not your typical hotel like those that you'll find in Kowloon. So, if you're used to the hustle and bustle of Kowloon till late night, you'll find that the area the hotel is located in gets really really quiet at night. Other than a few 24-hour convenient stores, there is really nothing opened here at... More

Stayed for a couple of nights as it was cheap. Room was about 6 by 8 feet so not much room for luggage and very little space to hang clothes up. Small shower room/toilet but worked well. Staff very good and helpful. I had bood breakfast inc but you have to pre order day before from a choice of sandwiches... More

I took this room together with a friend for the recent Rugby 7s in Hong Kong. We thought that we could save a little money by sharing a room, fully expecting that it would be cramped. Upon entering the room it became immediately clear that 2 people who did not intend to have carnal relations could not share the twin... More

For the location (10-15 minutes' walk from Central, Soho, etc) this is not a bad place and I would stay again for that very reason. The rooms are on the small side, but this is frankly a fact of life in HK unless you are prepared to stay out of the way, or 2-3 times as much. The rooms are... More

We stayed here in April 2011 as the hotel is near my son's apartment. I meant to review it at the time but obviously forgot to. We are off to HK again and did not hesitate to rebook this hotel. Last time we had a standard room for one night, but found it to be too small so we upgraded... More

This hotel is a small boutique hotel and when they say the rooms small they arent kidding. Our standard room was pretty much bed and dresser with wardrobe (fridge etc) and then a separate bathroom. But the decor is so nice and the set up so nice that the space hardly matters and from what i understand a common problem... More

On the plus side great location and friendly staff. Other than that minute rooms very hard beds & pillows. No space to put suitcases no shelves or any space in bathroom and rubbish lighting. I would definitely not stay there again and would prefer to go a little further afield for a half decent size room with beds you can... More

I have actually stayed here twice - like what other reviewers said, this is perfect for a city holiday where you want to enjoy the night life (walking distance to Soho and LKF area), and to central train station, etc. however the rooms are very, very tiny! We had a room with 2 single bed that was surprisingly very comfortable... More

In the heart of the business district on Hong Kong Island, Sohotel is a good value with fairly small but clean well-appointed rooms and good service. An excellent cooked- to-order breakfast is included with the room.
