Great place if you just want a place to sleep and leave first thing in the morning. We were out from 9am until 10pm everyday, there is no room to “relax” as it is just a bed and bathroom. BRING A TOWEL!!! They offer “disposable” towels which is a piece of kitchen roll. They feel horrible. There is a Decathlon close to the hotel that sell microfibre towels, I would recommend getting one. Location is fantastic! Mixture of both shops and places to eat nearby, as well as MTR stations a short walk away. As long as you are ok with stairs. There is no privacy in the bathroom. You are using the toilet right next to the bed and it is fully transparent due to the glass. Other than that, the shower was spacious and the water pressure was good. Overall, the room does the job but don’t expect anything fancy.

If you want a place to stay in the middle of Central with an affordable budget, this is probably the best option you'll get so far. So, people need to meet expectations when booking this hotel. Our room was upgraded to include a balcony by the staff. The room is small, enough to use for sleeping. The balcony was as large as the room, so it was great to stay there with the views of Victoria Peak. The location again, is the key value, it is within walking distance from Central/QRC/Lan Kwai Fong/Peak Tram. If there's one major thing to criticize, it is the terrain, most of the shortcuts, to the hotel are dominated by stairs or inclines. This is okay for backpackers but not for people (like us) with luggage/s. Had we known, we could've used taxis or Uber to travel to the hotel from Airport Express.

At first it looks like a smart / no fuss / budget option. The hotel is well located indeed and each room seems to offer basic required amenities. But all these elements are actually pointless. In fact, what would you do in a room where.... Sleeping is IMPOSSIBLE!!! Humidity is so high that your stuff get immediately wet and to make it even worse::: AC is set at 18 degrees and can't be reduced (to fight against humidity). So to make it short it is super humid and freezing. I had to cover my self with a jumper and a scarf. Last but not least, despite these clear failures in offering the very basic (the ability to sleep), the hotel does not accept to refund even a cent to screwed customers. They did not apologise and they don’t care. It is clearly a scam. This hotel is not fulfilling its basic missions and shall have its license taken away.

I rented a room for myself for a few days. The location is very convenient and the room had just what I needed. They also provide soap and shampoo. The room was neat and the air-condition was functioning very well, a bit hard to regulate the temperature, because the flow of air was strong. I was very satisfied with the room and comfort.

Likes: 1. Location is super central. Right near the train station, also right next to Lan Kwai Fong for some nice bars and food. 2. Staff were also friendly at the front counter and when you asked for something there was no questions asked and they gave you items straight away. 3. Water refill station in the lobby that also had hot and cold water 4. For the location, it is actually the cheapest place available, so you do get what your paying for. Dislikes: 1. Getting to Mini Central, even though its “central” to everything, it is up on a hill so walking with suitcases was a work out on the legs. 2. Rooms are basically 2 metres x 2 metres. Toilet and shower are also connected to the rook which make the room damp. 3. When the room got damp, the wooden floorboards would get damp and would squish down. When they would squish down, old water would come up through the cracks, and that old water would be dirty as we chucked a towel on the ground to soak it up and the water was brown stained on the towel. 4. Our pillow had a blood stain on it as we first arrived and we wondered if the bed sheets actually got changed. 5. The air conditioning temperature had a temperature change switch but it did not change so it was permanently stuck on the coldest temperature. 6. Be prepared that they do not clean your room if you stay below 14 days, and even then it is only changing the sheets once per week. 7. I think it is also the smallest sink I have seen in my life.

The location is great, especially for first time visitors to HK, especially younger people on a budget. Walkable from airport express station HK island or a ~5usd taxi from HK station. The rooms are definitely smaller than advertised, I would guess closer to 6m squared than 10 as they say, that said, as in many places in HK they make the most of the space. The lobby is cute and eclectically designed and a nice place to relax when the room feels a bit too cramped. I would say it's not the best place to stay your first night or two if you're coming off a very long flight or multi-city itinerary. HOWEVER, the staff/service, is EXCELLENT. If it's your first time in HK the staff is so eager to help you get the lay of the land and answer any questions about transport, etc. Additionally, after I mistakenly threw out a bag that contained some of my girlfriend's valuables and had a minor anxiety attack manager Kevin and the entire housekeeping staff helped me dig through bags upon bags of garbage in the basement and after we eventually found it, they steadfastly refused my offer to give them any kind of tip or even small tokens like starbucks gift cards or fancy tea from my friend's tea shop. They kept saying it was "their duty" to help me find it and ensure that our trip wasn't ruined because of a dumb mistake I made. Part of it is good old fashioned Hong Konger hospitality but also part of it was just plain ABOVE and BEYOND service by Kevin and the housekeeping staff. THANK YOU KEVIN AND STAFF! Mgoi Sai!

There's noise, like A LOT of noise - the kind even noise cancelling headphones cannot fix. It's like a really cheap motel/brothel, with an edgy reception hall. Bedrooms are old, they don't provide any sort of bathroom utilities. In addition, beds are rather small and short, anyone taller than 1.70 will struggle. At 5pm you can hear people having loud af sex; at night the sound of people opening the doors to their bedrooms will wake you up and it will seem like your own bedroom is being robbed because there's zero wall insulation. I am just glad I didn't hear anyone vomiting in the room next to mine. There's no room to place any luggage, let alone to open a travelling bag. The sink is inside the shower, which is probably the only good thing in the whole shack. In a nutshell, the problem is not that it is cheap, one can travel cheap and stay in awesome places, the problem is the whole feeling of the place. It's shady. Staff really doesn't seem to bother to promote a comfortable, safe experience. Fix that insulation problem, you cheap nuts!

location is convenient, room size is tiny (but it's obvious), toilet blinds need to be updated as they are not in good condition anymore, room walls are thin so very easy to hear next door. I had to move to 3 different rooms (smart room). Kevin Tsoi, one of the Managers, was very helpful and very professional and ensured my stay was as pleasant as possible. But overall, long stay (Nov-Dec 2022) was ok and I would stay again as location is convenient and good staffs attitude.

Location is the advantage. Nice comfortable lobby which makes up for the tiny rooms but the lobby closest at 21.00 far to early. Rooms are tiny and worn out - bad designed shower - no mirror in bath room unpleasant for shaving- floor needs better cleaning - not enough sound proof between rooms. there are to many flaws for the high price they ask you to pay. All the basics are there just bad execution.
