We booked this hotel without a lot of research because we simply wanted to find something that was close to the train station and something that had a single bed plus double/queen bed. It was hidden a block off the main street just a couple blocks east of the train station after walking down a grungy looking alleyway. It was... More

I stayed for a week and not once I faced inconvenience. Maybe its because i never ordered any room service or used their restaurants or any other service for that matter. My time was spent sightseeing. But i was satisfied with whatever the hotel offered. There was a 32in LCD TV, disposable bedroom slippers, even condoms in the room (how... More

We had 2 room reservations using Book It.com and when we arrived, they only were able to locate 1 room reservation and were concerned that we had 3 people. I had to get out the reservation in order for them to locate the 2nd room. The service at the receiption was not warm. I"'m pretty easy going, however, over 30-... More

Hi, i stayed at the Zhong An Hotel in Beijing, China for ten days from the 23rd of July to the 02nd of August. Although the hotel and staff are very nice, the rooms are very small, there's not really enough space and storage provided for your clothes. The space in the rooms wasn't too much of a problem for... The location of the hotel is very good - it is about 5 minutes walking to the bus station and a minute more to central train station and subway station. But show the taxi driver the map how to get to the hotel that is provided by the hotel since it is located in a small street that most of... More

Low budget and it shows. The colour scheme should be a first warning. Rooms are all off central hallways and noisy. Rooms are small - Ours had laminated timber floors and 2 x small beds with AC units and small drawers. Think blinds and near bright illuminated sign. Hard and thin beds serviced daily. Amenities were VERY basic. Bathroom was... More

This hotel was a quaint and reasonably nice stay. As it was my first time in Beijing I'm glad that I stayed in his hassle free, and clean hotel. The hotel was difficult for my taxi driver to find he kept circling around in frustration and asking other random taxi drivers for directions. The taxi then proceeded to overcharge me... More

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment style room, air con kitchenette hot water. Close to everything. Taxis won't come down the hutong due to narrowness but you are close to the rail station and main road. Bus from airport stops at the railway station and you walk to the first street turn right into the hutong and follow the... More
