It was April 2006, that our family stayed at Marco Polo Parkside Beijing. I know its been awhile, that I'm making this review. Our rooms were clean as well as our bathroom. The room was for triple sharing and it was spacious. The best part was the breakfast...amazing. My favorite was the french toast topped either by fresh blueberries or... More

Stayed here for a number of weeks for business while in Beijing and although the room itself is quite nice and spacious, only stay at this hotel if your destination is somewhere around the Olympic park AND if you can speak Mandarin. Room: nice and spacious, although make sure you ask for non-smoking room. Higher floors have nicer rooms. Internet... More

A 5 star wannabe hotel located in a place that is far from everything in Beijing except the bird's nest. Very poorly managed you may spend half an hour in a a 2 persons cue waiting to be attended or you may have the maid knocking at the door at 730 am with the do not disturb sign shown! Not... More

I was shocked by how nice this hotel was given the excellent price we received, it was within a stone's throw of the "Birdcage" Olympic village. Around were a few restaurants and other interesting places, my view from the 15th floor was breathtaking before the smog rolled in... This was chosen by my Chinese hosts and it as an excellent... I only stayed here one night, but was very pleased. The elite member breakfast is plentiful, and the rooms are beautiful. I was not able to go for a run during my stay, but I am told the Olympic site is only about 3K away. More

We stayed here for three nights during a private tour of China in September 2011 with Oriental Travel of London. The Hotel is situated on a wide and busy road but the hotel has a slip road for taxis etc. The nearest subway is only a 10 minute walk away and is convenient for the Lama and Confucius Temples, the... It was our first trip to Beijing and I wanted so much to see the Great wall, We stayed here May 2010 ( this is kinda late for a review ) but nonetheless I still recall the experience. The location was great, just along a main road, the rooms were big and comfortable. Though I was with my husband, we... More

The location of the hotel is near the Olypic Park and not too far from the CBD, which is very convinent for any business dealings in Beijing. The facilities of the hotel is good with a fitness ceter, in-door swimming pool, beauty salon, and a few restaurants. The rate of the hotel is fairly reasonable compared to other five-star hotels... The Marco Polo was the first hotel we stayed in on our tour of Southern China. As a Chinese 5 Star it was probably equal to a European 4 Star, but nevertheless it was excellent. Although out of the city centre, it was ideally situated for visiting the 2008 Olympic site, which is around 15 minutes walk. Staff were really... More

The Marco Polo Parkside Hotel is what I would consider a business hotel. It is not a bad hotel, and relatively inexpensive for Beijing. But ammenities are very expensive; such as meals, laundry, etc... The location is excellent as it is near a street of good restaraunts. More
