A really pleasant hotel, with an endless supply of steaming hot water for showers. The rooms were nice and comfortable and clean too. The only downside to this hotel is that its a little bit out of the way of the main tourist areas, but they are only a short bus ride away. More

Very helpful staff. Some tourist attractions within walking distance. E.g. Temple of Heaven and Tianqiao Acrobatic Theater. Also good public bus connections to other parts of the city. Within walking distance (25 min) of Tiananmen Square. Liked it. More

We stayed at the hotel for three nights. On the first day we tried to manage our daytours on our own. That's quiet difficult in a forein country with such a diffrent way of life. We don't know how to get to the most intressing spots. At the second day we ask at the reception for help. The hotel manager... More

The RJ Brown is a good stay for a few night. The rooms are moderate. The beds are pretty hard. Breakfast is oke. The hotel is in the south west of Beijing. Not the best location. But taxi's are cheap. Temple of Heaven is on short distance. Few restaurants in neighberhood. Ter eis a restaurant nextdoor with pizza's and internet. More

Very friendly, clean, enough space for me and my 18 year old son, a perfect location to start for nearby walks. Always a lovely place to come back! And a nice roof veranda for drinking beer and looking over beijing. More

To be perfectly honest I was a bit disappointed with our room. We were on the ground floor and the bathroom flooded as soon as the shower went on. It was also a bit smelly and had not been aired. However they were very full so I think we were stuck in the one of the last available rooms -... More

We loved this hotel, mainly because of its location. It is only a 20 minute walk to Tianan Men Square and is across from the Temple of Heaven. Close by there is a traditional department store, a grocery market and a wonderful park where you can see people fly their kites. But the best thing about the location is that... More

Stayed here with our tour group. The owner was very chatty, and claimed the hot water comes from a spring under the hotel (a special lukewarm spring it would seem). Handy for the acrobat theatre nearby, and possibly handy for the temple of heaven, if anyone were to actually walk in enormous Beijing. We arrived late and they served us... More
