I can only echo the comments of the previous reviewer. There is no excuse for a hotel that is careless about its customers. The key is to make your clients feel like valued and honoured guests, not commodities. Then there is the hotel itself. Why are the rooms so scuffed and tatty? Why do the carpets in the rooms reek...

My party of seven arrived renting out 6 rooms. All of us individually complained about the extremely bad smell of sewage as we entered our rooms. Some of us were given other rooms but the problem remained on the 2nd, 4th and 7th floors of the hotel. One of our party who is black had a housekeeper refuse to clean...

Although this hotel is centrally located, the rooms were old and ragged... The air quality was terrible, the beds rock hard and the pillows hard as well. I would rate this hotel 2 stars at best.

This was my second visit to this hotel. I again brought a group of teenage students and staff but we were the only Westerners there - same as 2 years ago. The rooms are good quality. Beds are hard but this is typical of the beds in China. Plenty of hot water in the showers but NO hairdryers in the...

I stayed at this hotel for 5 days in July of 2007. It was hot outside but cool inside. I stayed on the 7th floor I think? The staff was pretty good and the English was too. I had the room service and it was good. We arranged a trip to the Great wall via private car and it was...

We stayed at the hotel for 7 days. Nice place to stay is what we would say. It is very convenient to go around Beijing because there is just few minutes walk to the Xichimen Subway Station (Oval building).
By the way, don't think of calling Taxi during the rush hours in Beijing, it was really difficult to find one....

I stayed here for 5 nights in June 2007 and couldn't have been happier. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The staff is extremely helpful, professional, and most speak some English. The hotel is located about 5 kilometers from the city center area, but it is an extremely interesting area. There is a beautiful park behind the hotel with...
