The hotel would have been a grand affair in its day. The bed was comfortable enough but the carpet was stained and not overly clean. The bath surface/enamel was eroded away in a large patch and the bathroom needed renovating. The western breakfast offerings weren't overly appetising and the coffee should be avoided.
