I stayed here for work and was satisfied with the visit. The property is nice, the staff are ok (not great), and the location is pretty convenient. It is located near wangfujing and just above the Oriental plaza mall with access to subway etc.. The strangest bit of the hotel is the pool with is tropics themed. It is really... More

Was there for a business trip. The hotel was near the shopping district (wangfujing) and this makes it extremely convenient. It is also near the subway Room looked tired but acceptable. Nice food in shopping mall near hotel. This means you do not always have to eat at the hotel, even in the morning.

The Grand Hyatt has seen better days. While the lobby is still grand, the rooms are a dump. I stayed in a one bedroom suite, and the rugs were stained all over. All the furnishings are showing their age, and the room smelled of smoke. The hotel needs a renovation.

Our family stayed two nights in a grand king room with an extra bed, it is not a lot of room but still comfortable. The hotel is located at one of the best and most convenient locations. It is a short walk to Wangfujing, and within the Oriental plaza, there are many eateries choices. We took subway line 1 just... More

We were given a night stay here on the Club floor in a one bedroom suite as a birthday present. (We are Aussies living in Beijing, 2 adults one 3 year old and one 7m old.) Our stay was everything we could ever have hoped for! Lovely service, great food, sensational room (CLOSED door and wall between bedroom and living... More

We just recently spent 4 nights as a family vacation. We couldn't find a better combination of location, value, and class. We loved the convenience of being a stone throw away from the best of Wangfujing, and that being literally on top of an underground shopping mall with plenty of eateries (pacifier for kids who couldn't 100% shake the addiction... Stayed for one night, last weekend at the Grand Hyatt Beijing and liked it. The hotel is well located in the central part of Beijing, easy to access commercial areas as well as attractions like Forbidden City and Tianenmen Square (15-20 minutes walk away). If you are in the mood for shopping, there is a mall below with top end... More

I've stayed here at least five times already, and every time I check in and enter my room I ask myself why I came back. The purpose of this most recent trip was business, and as the conference that I was attending was being held in the hotel, it didn't make sense to stay anywhere else. Had I been given... More

I'm not saying that I have stayed in every five star hotel in Beijing, but I've stayed in at least two Ritz, one Mariott, one St. Regis and one Westin before, and Hyatt is the last I would consider next time I visit. To start, room is tiny -- if I put my gouge up, then I can't really use... More
