We loved the old style guesthouse and the hutong in which is was situated. The rooms were not too special and a bit small but the staff and location well made up for it. Although Beying is full with nice options I can definetely recommend to stay in a hutong as it is so typical for this amazing city.

Stayed at the Fish Inn in August with a &-year old boy and felt like it was our own home. Extremely accommodating to our flight arriving after midnight - we arrived at the Inn almost at 1am. Highly recommend anyone seeking a real sense of Beijing with a laid back feel to stay at the Fish Inn.
