This hostel is very well located very near the metro and the shopping district of Beijing. The rooms are small but nice! The first time we went to the hotel we were a bit concerned about the location! but it turned out fine! Our only remark goes to the fact that the breakfast is just a joke. You get some... More

Fish Inn is a little hotel off the main road; it was very clean and had a great homely feel to it. The rooms were a bit small - but since we were only there for 4 nights; it was alright as we were out from morning to late nite and just needed a place to shower & sleep. The... More

This place is awesome. Hard to find your first time around but after that it is great. Rooms were clean and ready. We got in at night, locals had to help us find the place. We stayed 6 nights with no incidents. The reception girls spoke english and were very helpful. For the price I would always come back. Also... More

The Fish Inn provides six or eight basic small ensuite room s around a small courtyard in a typical hutong in a residential area, so it was really quiet at night. The local high street has a selection of shops including at least six wedding shops - very glitzy. The Fish Inn is about a five minute walk from the... More

We loved the old style guesthouse and the hutong in which is was situated. The rooms were not too special and a bit small but the staff and location well made up for it. Although Beying is full with nice options I can definetely recommend to stay in a hutong as it is so typical for this amazing city.

This is a very small hutong style inn in Beijing. The best thing about the inn was that it is a short walk to the metro, which is the best way to see central Beijing due to the traffic. You could even walk briskly to the Forbidden City in 45 minutes. Other than location, there is nothing to recommend the... More

Stayed at the Fish Inn in August with a &-year old boy and felt like it was our own home. Extremely accommodating to our flight arriving after midnight - we arrived at the Inn almost at 1am. Highly recommend anyone seeking a real sense of Beijing with a laid back feel to stay at the Fish Inn.

It's not easy to locate it the first time, but as they send you a nice confirmation e-mail with the map and instructions to get there, so do print it to show it to your taxi driver or to guide yourself if you are coming by public bus. From Beijing's west train station it costs 25 rmb to get there... More

1) The inn is located in Beijing's Hutong. That means you get to feel the true spirit of traditional Beijing. We absolutely loved it. For an example, every morning, when we stepped out on to narrow street, we were greeted by a same mellow dog. And once a kid did running competion with me on my way to metro station.... More

This hotel was small, and the individual rooms were also small, but don't let that put you off. If you are spending a short time in Beijing and want to be near to most of the major heritage sites and not far from the shopping malls then this is the place for you. The hotel is excellent value for money.... More
