The price was good, as was availability and location. Bed was absolutely rock hard though and poor water pressure for shower. Also plumbing issues with a running toilet all night. Wouldn't advise as a first choice.

Citytel inn is in a really good location within walking distance to TIananmen square, Forbidden city and Wangfujing road. There are a few dining options and some small convenience stores around. The hotel is just average, the room was not that spacious and the furniture quite worn out, the employees at reception spoke limited English and were not that helpful.
