We arrived at Beijing Airport at 2.30am and even so were picked up (driver wanted only tip we were asked for in whole of China trip though). Efficiently returned to the airport next day

A colleague and I stayed at the Stay One Boutique Hotel while in transit from the Beijing Airport to the South train station. As prearranged they met us at our 10:30 PM arrival with a sign( didn't have to call), took our bags, and loaded us in a van for a short ride to the hotel which is very near...

Stayed at this hotel twice in July. It's great if you have an early flight out from the Beijing airport. If you don't, there are probably better places to stay.
It's in a residential neighborhood without many tourist facilities. It's neighborhood eateries (mostly steet carts and a few food stalls... not really anything I'd call a "restaurant", though there is...

The first impression of the beat up shuttle bus made us skeptical. The hotel is fairyly new, but maintenance must not be on the agenda. The lobby in general needs a good cleaning and the carpet to the elevators is just plain gross. The rooms were somewhat better, however, we had to be moved to another room since the air...
