Poor service is an understatement. The staff are extremely rude. I've traveled extensively around China. The Cinderella Apartments is one of my all time worse experiences. I would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking to study in Beijing. It is fairly close to the university district (15 minutes by bus, although I haven't tried in morning rush hour yet), and very inexpensive for what you get.
