I left the hotel after the first night. Close to Mombasa travel attraction. I paid $35 a night. But i didn't feel safe in the hotel therefore decided to move after the first night. The hotel in on quiet street and that make it very difficult to get taxi to tuktuk at night.

The staff was friendly and the rooms were quiet. Furnishings were basic and a bit tired, but adequate. Breakfast was good. The location was excellant -- close to all attractions, but on a quiet back street. This hotel represents excellent value for the budget traveller.

It provided the flexibility of touring Fort Jesus and seeing Old town Mombasa in the afternoon after walking through town and the financial district in the morning. The hotel is nothing spectacular, but the rooms are clean and quiet. The restaurant is good, but the breakfast is nothing special. During ramadan you may be woken by the mosque located across the street.

The staff was very friendly. The amenities were great!!. It was very clean. The location is great!! Its right in the heart of Mombasa and close to the historical landmark Fort Jesus. I will definitely stay there again the next time I'm in town.

I stayed in this hotel in May 2010 for few nights. Hotel was clean and quiet, mosquito nets were in good shape. The staff were very nice!
