I have now been to Rekero 8 times and wouldn't stay anywhere else in the main Maasai Mara Reserve. Why? It's not just about the location, which is unbeatable, or about the fantastic game viewing close to camp. Every guest is made to feel welcome and special at Rekero - not just by the managers and guides, but by all... More

We have recently spent three nights at Rekero Camp. The experience was best summed up by saying that it is our second trip there - the first time was so good we didn't even consider staying anywhere else in the Mara when we went the second time. The guides were amazing and we saw fantastic game (both times). The accommodation... More

Although we only stayed a day, in between other camps, Rekero had a magical touch to it! The beautiful view over the river, a short distance from us hippos having a great time and on the drive there 2 of these majestic animals: the rhinos! The tents are very comfortable while giving you the real bush feeling, with each a... More

Just returned from a 3 night stay at Rekero. Cannot see how anyone would want to stay anywhere else on the Mara. Great spot; great staff; great food, and wonderful game drives from minute 1 in the jeep More

My husband and I joined 10 other fellow photographers on the most spectacular safari! We stayed for 5 nights in Rekero Camp in the Masaai Mara National Reserves. The accommodations and camp facilities were wonderful! From the first day to the last, we were treated very well! We were greeted on the first day with pineapple juice (full of pulp-yummy!)... More

i have been on more than 50 safaris in Botswana, Kenya, Tanzania, South Africa and Zambia. Rekero has the best guides, and the Masai has the best cats, so if you love cats like i do, this is the place for you! Mark was our guide, and he was fantastic, and was incredibly tolerant and friendly even when we kept... More

My wife and I have had the opportunity to stay at some of the finest hotels in the world. Never have we experienced the service we received at Rekero. In a day when most of our experiences do not match our expectations, our experience far exceeded expectations. The animals were everywhere, the camp was beautiful, the tents very comfortable and... Our group of 6, 3 couples, visited Masaai Mara for 4 days in December 2011. In both the Safari's and the in-camp facilities, there is no detail left unattended. The camp hosts and staff provided a 5 star stay. The camp rhythm is based around morning and afternoon wildlife safaris, with gourmet lunch and dinner in community style in the... More

Rekero was our third camp in a 10 day Kenya safari to celebrate our anniversary, and by far our favorite, although all were fantastic. Rekero hosted the crew for Disney's African Cats movie, as you're right in the middle of the action. En route from the airport in a new Land Cruiser, we saw the infamous Notch and his two... More

Pick up from airport the Safari started. River crossing with great driver was already an experience. Highly professional. My wife is easily scared, but this was a good test for us how good the organisation is. The reception at location was very nice and although the wheather was not good we had a great stay. Game driving was fantastic, unspoiled... More
