If you want to experience Africa at it’s very best, I cannot recommend anywhere more beautiful, than Tassia Lodge. Tassia lodge is part of the landscape, blending in to the trees and the hillside making it hard to spot from a distance. Having travelled around Africa a lot in the past, I can say without doubt that Tassia really is... More

We visited Tassia this weekend, sadly only for one night, but when we drove away we felt like we'd been away for three or four nights - perfect escape! We drove in, which as Kenyans was very do-able, but I would say for anyone coming from abroad that it is well worth the flight as it is such dramatic landscape... More

We were fortunate enough to fly to Tassia in the Waco biplane owned by Lewa Wilderness Lodge (thank you Will Craig). As you can see from the photographs Tassia is situated in a breathtaking position. We were the only guests during our two night stay and Martin and Antonia made us very welcome. Their commitment to their eco-projects and the... More

Nothing can you prepare you for the beauty of Tassia. I recommend flying in by plane - ask the pilot to fly low as you hit the Leywa national park. You fly over zebra giraffe and elephants and you get an exhilarating journey into the horizon zooming over the dramatic terrain that cannot fail to inspire. Upon landing We were... More

My father booked a trip for myself and my family to stay over the Christmas period for a few days, after having spent a few days on the beach in Diani. We chartered a plane from Wilson airport, which took 45 minutes, and landed straight into Tassia's camp, to be greeted by our hostess the gorgeous Antonia, who then helped... More

My husband and I with our three teenage children stayed here in December for three nights arranged by www.imagineafrica.co.uk who were excellent. The rooms are beautiful spacious thatched bandas with bedroom, bathroom and sitting areas and open sides offering the most fantastic views over the conservancy. All are individual and private and offer the most amazing features such as outdoor... More

We visited in late October 2011 when the land was suddenly blooming after the end of a long drought. The lodge is in a sensational location on the edge of a hill overlooking a rolling plain, and the architecture of the various separate houses for guests is exquisitely understated but just perfect. The managers, Martin and Antonia, are very welcoming... More

Tassia took my breath away. I lay for hours on the sofa in our room looking out across the vast stretching plains below - high enough to see into the trees and brush, but close enough to see in detail elephant, giraffe, warthog and kudu meandering their way past the lodge. Our room was open, hanging over the cliff, and... More

We stayed here for 4 nights with our two kids aged 10 (girl) and 13 (boy). The place is magical. Lovely rooms/cabanas built on the edge of and into rocks overlooking the plains on a steep ridge. The "camp" is manned by locals carefully selected by the hosts Antonia and Martin and are fantastic - really bright and bubbly and... More
