I stayed 6 nights at the Morris in Luxor and was disappointed to say the least. On the second night, I noticed my feet hurting and looked down to see hundreds of tiny shards of glass in the carpet. I picked out dozens of glass splinters and was very annoyed. When I talked to staff about it, they said a... more

My friend and I arrived to Aswan without a prior booking, just thinking about checking different hotels and find a clean middle-range hotel. We found this one by chance and although the hall it seemed pretty upscale, we decided to check it. After some bargaining we got a room with breakfast included for 100egyptian pounds each (around 14euros) and we... more

I stayed here Nov 08 and it was a welcome relief after staying in a shabby hotel in Cairo. The staff were very welcoming, we battered the price down AND as it was early morning they even let us have breakfast for no extra price which was delicious by the way! It's a short walk from the Nile and other... more

This hotel was the second part of our Egyptian tour. We arrived on the night train from Cairo and were met by Samir straight off the train and taken to the hotel. The hotel is located in the heart of Luxor and is only a short walk from the Nile. The Hotel itself is beautiful, clean and has excellent food.... more

I had a room on the third floor. All rooms and floors above are not finished except for the roof pool. From the first day on of my 14-night stay, there was no room heating, the air condition did not work. The room temperature never got above 15c. When I first complained about the cold, I was told to cuddle... more

Me and my friend Fahana stayed at the Morris Hotel during the end of the summer holidays in 2007. It was a such a fantastic stay I would go there time and time again. When we arrived we thought that the hotel must have been planted there in the middle of a side street that just didn't suit the scene... more

We read TRIP advisor regularly so we went to stay at the Morris knowing both the pro`s and cons. We were met by Ehab who gave us a guided tour of the hotel which was a nice touch. The down stairs is beautifully decorated but the bedrooms could do with a coat of paint. The food is excellent and so... more
