I have stayed here several times and have always been completely happy with my room and the good housekeeping. The pool area is very nice. The food is hit and miss (as with all Luxor hotels) but the restaurant by the pool has provided me with some very good lunches. They do a good pizza and a nice fish &... More

My partner and I have has another lovely holiday in Luxor staying at the El Luxor. I have stayed there many times and it was my partner's second stay. It was at his insistence we returned after his first visit last October. I have always said it is like a home from home (but without the housework) and how they... More

We stayed for two nights after a week on the Nile. The room was fine with a balcony overlooking the river. It was clean and roomy. There were a variety of placees to eat in the hotel with a variety of cuisines. The pool was lovely and well maintained the gardens were a delight - two gardeners working all day.... More

Love this hotel. Have stayed elsewhere before, the location of The El Luxor is ideal for us. Breakfast overlooking the Nile, and seeing the caleche horses eating their breakfast is a lovely way to start the day. Ali the guest relations guy is the friendliest most pleasant man you could ever wish to meet. The hotel must count themselves lucky... More

As usual Ali was very energetic in meeting the gusts and sorting out any problems they may have had. The Managers as always were most welcoming as were... More

The flight was delayed 20 hours so we were taken from our de-lux river cruiser (Grand Rose) to this hotel, best described as a 2 - star at best. We were allocated rooms that had not been used for months, the WC's were dry and insects + dirty conditions were present in all areas. The chef presented the flight with... More

This is the third time that we have stayed at this hotel, and were really glad go back again to visit. Only disappointment was that we only stayed for one week (hopefully going back again in September). As ever the staff and management do their best to make your stay a friendly and happy one, especially Aly the Customer Relations... More
