The owner lied (that he doesn't have a wife/daughter etc) and tried asking me out on a date. Stayed here in Dec 2009. You have to climb up 4 floors of dirty and disgusting looking floors. There are no lifts. The hosts of the hotel is only interested in your money and trying to con you into buying their tour packages. It will spoil your entire holiday experience. The toilets suck as well.

The staff and owner at the Kings Palace are absolute treasures - very genuine, hospitable and friendly. We stayed for 4 nights in a double room with private bathroom and had a fantastic time seeing all the sights at a leisurely pace. I would have no hesitation in recommending this place to anyone who wants somewhere relaxed, comfortable and affordable.
