Its only 15-20 minutes walk from exit 3, Anguk station (line 3). Its a quite and nice neighborhood, i love this place so much. Their people are so nice. This guesthouse is the cheapest hanok guesthouse i found to try traditional experience of stay. Their manager is a Taiwanese girl, is a nice person. Bukchon GH have 3 branches in... More

My cousin and I stayed at Guest house 3. It was supposedly the "triple" room, however in my opinion, it is just right for the two of us. They had their 'wardrobe' which we put all of our luggage in. The space in the room was just sufficient for two of what I call 'mattress' and also a mini table.... More

If you are looking for a traditional korean hanok home experience this is a great place. Situated in a historic hanok village in the heart of Seoul walking distance to the royal palace gyeongbukgong, and tourist areas of Insadong and subway station Anguk. There are actually three guesthouses so check their website to choose the one suited to you. I... More

I agree this is not for everybody. First of all you sleep on a thin mattress on the floor ina tiny room no closet, and small pillow and you share a bathroom. That mentioned, it is a unique experience a full immersion in an old way of life. The house is gorgeous, a fantastic traditional corean house, with a courtyard... More

I'm completely torn as to whether or not to recommend this guesthouse. I suppose I went in with high expectations, and have walked away with none of them being met. Perhaps I was being a little unrealistic prior to my arrival. I am not going to recommend staying at this guesthouse for 6 nights as I did. I will however... More

My friends and I stayed here for 4 days. It was a great place to stay because the rooms were clean and comfy. The comforters provided were clean and thick enough to prevent us from being cold.. The rooms were equipped with electric floor heating which is really helpful during cold weather. The guest house is near Changdeokgung and Gyangdeokgung... More

While it was some years ago, we stayed for 3 weeks in this guesthouse and loved it. This is NOT a place for those who are only interested in Western comfort. Our room was the only one with Western beds...twin beds...in a tatami mat room only large enough for the beds and a walkway. The bathroom next door however had... More
