“Quiet Location with Easy Walk to Shwedagon Pagoda”

The hotel is located across from the Kandawgyi Park and easy to walk to Shwedagon Pagoda, also next to the Embassy of Japan. My room was spacious with separate shower and bath w/good water pressure. “Very very good hotel in Yangon.”

I am frequent guess of this Chatrium Hotel Royal Lake Yangon and I found it a very pleasant place to stay, very comfortable beds, lagoon style pools, nice fitness room. All staffs are very caring and kind and can perform excellent services, very good environment with greenery.

Hotels in Myanmar are and can be interesting. This is one that took credit cards (in a fashion). The coffee was the best I experienced in Myanmar. The staff did speak English - after a fashion - but everything including the internet worked. I would go back as the staff were friendly and tried exceptionally hard to please.

A very pleasant hotel in a very congested noisy city. Situated on the edge of a lake with a delightful view of the Shwe Dagon Pagoda. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Very attractive outside surroundings with lovely swimming pool. Food was very good.
