Very clean hotel, although a little removed from the city centre. Rooms are large, basic and comfortable as well as clean. Only issue was the walls were thin and so we could hear all the noises of the hotel and beyond as if only a piece of cardboard was separating us. Run by Chinese the menu and breakfast buffet was... The first hotel I picked in Yangon was fully booked, so I decided on the Clover Hotel after reviewing Trip Advisor reviews. The Myanmar travel agent recommended against the choice, but I booked it anyway... mistake. The only good thing about the hotel is the location. It is very near the Shwedagon. We easily walked there. I guess there were... More

I stayed here on three occasions (2 nights, 1 night, 2 nights) and each time found this to be an extremely good choice in Yangon. Now given that this is Myanmar, there are a few quirks that some may consider unacceptable in more "developed" countries, however, they are to be expected here and even though these are noted, they didn't... After having stayed for 10 days i leave the Clover with mixed feelings. The location is fantastic, the rooms are nice and very clean. The staff is friendly, welcoming and supportive. But still this does not justify the high room rates. A real unpleasant nuisance is the housekeeping. It starts between 6.30 and 7 AM. The housekeeping staff tries to... More

We planned a short one-week trip to Burma--two nights in Yangon, three nights in Bagan, and the last two nights in Yangon. We booked the Clover Hotel for the first two nights and our hotel in Bagan well in advance, but we figured that we would book our final two nights in Yangon once we arrived. However, when we arrived,... More

A relatively new hotel off Nat Mauk Road north of Kandawgyi Lake. Clientele seems to be mainly Chinese business people and Thai tourists. Hotel is fairly new, so the fittings and facilities are in pretty good condition (e.g. compared to the K Paradise nearby which is a dump!) The rooms are quite large, with basic fittings, individual air-conditioning units and... More

Tucked away near the Kan Daw Gyi is a new hotel. the rooms are large, the staff are helpful and the dining area on the top floor has spectacular view of the Shwe Dagon Pagoda, which within easy walking distance. Just down the street is an entrance to the Kan Daw Gyi Park great for an early morning stroll. Breakfast... More

Looking to enjoy the sights of Yangon? Then ask for a room on the 6th floor with a view of the Swedagon Pagoda. We had a very spacious room with a large TV and small fridge, large bathroom with a shower separate from the toilet, and a beautiful view of the pagoda. The restaurant is on the 7th floor, offers... This new hotel has clean rooms with good showers and beds. Free WI FI in room is a bonus and staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The location is great for early walks to the Shedagon Pagoda Kandawgyi lake and also the monastery area. Breakfast is Chinese with the usual toast bread. Rice and noodles are better and the fish or... More

On arrival found that they hadn't honoured our online agoda and telephone confirmed agreed reservation of a room with a view, annoying!!! The only room that they could offer us was on a lower floor , with no view and little light. However the room was comfortable enough and clean. Breakfast was standard eggs and toast. great view from the... More
