I stayed for 2 nights in this place, one night each during my short visit to Myanmar. I had a double room for USD$24 (internet booking price) and got a free pick up from the International Airport. No free transfer from the domestic airport though. Breakfast was basic. Just some local tea, toast with butter and jam and fruits. Room... More

The Ocean Pearl was an excellent first place to stay, airport pick up and very good on providing information and helping with onward travel. The breakfast was basic but it is a budget place at $25 a night for a double in a large city. After travelling around Myanmar we spent the last night there before flying to Thailand and... More

This is a one or two-night place max. The best parts of staying was the free pickup at the airport and the location in old Rangoon. I was too tired to notice when I checked in, but my room had no window, which was not a problem until the power went out - an everyday occurrence in Yangon - which... More

Rooms are clean; breakfast above average (toast, eggs, and fruit - but unfortunately the ubiquitous 3 in 1 coffee), AC and hot water work, and they have a safe deposit box for your valuables (although the chance of getting robbed in Myanmar must be close to zero). Within walking distance of train station, and Scott Market (15 minutes).

We stayed one night at Ocean Pearl Inn. The room was fine, we only missed the window (in fact there were two, but one was about 20cm beside of the wall from the next house and the other was painted dark (maybe instead of a curtain??). Breakfast was served in the reception-area – basic but okay. The reception-staff wasn't especially... More

We stayed at the inn on Jan 4, we were given a room where both beds were infested with bed bugs. The owners removed the mattresses and said they would be ditching them and replacing new ones. Those mattresses were sitting in the hall way for the next couple of days that we were there. This was our first experience... More

We stayed at the Ocean Pearl on our first night in Myanmar. The rooms were very clean and the staff there were very helpful and polite. We were satisfied well enough to return for the last night of our trip.

We had a lot of memories about this place. First, we've already tried an accomodation in Yangon which suitable with our budget and only this place that appeared. They have pick up service in airport and because of our approved visa which taken so long so we didn't saw our driver. So, we get airport taxi to hotel which is not... More

We stayed here for one night at the startof our trip to Burma. We had room 401 which was at the front of the hotel and therefore quite noisy all through the night because of passing traffic and hooters. It was a reasonably big room with a shower room and toilet and it did have hot water. The staff on... More
