The Melanesian is a good reasonably priced option that is close to town. The staff are very friendly and the rooms were a good size and very clean. It is also very quiet as it is set back from the main road. We ate at the restaurant twice and it was reasonable but here are probably better options around.

We have just returned from PV and absolutely loved this hotel. Rooms were great , service excellent and meals fantastic. Would recommend to anyone who does not want to be far away from the town and activities.

I visited the Melenesian last weekend for work. First impression with all the white painted coral/concrete look was that the place was old ( it is about 20 years). When I booked in the staff were fantastic, and the room cleanliness and size couldn't be faulted. I'd reccommend this hotel and would stay again.
