The Matavai Resort is in a lovely location and if you can get an ocean view room i'd recommend it. The rooms were beautiful and clean, showers and beds amazing. Grounds are well looked after. I found the resort great as a base for my busy time in Niue. It has everything you need if you don't feel like heading out. The rooms are great, staff lovely, restaurant, pool, bar and top view! I'm looking forward to another visit.

Nice and helpful staff, hotel is beautifully located overseeing the reef. Unfortunately we did not see the whales, but saw heaps of dolphins. Great food. Niue is a nice small islands with several great little secrets to discover. Fantastic to do in a week. Snorkeling is an amazing experience in Niue. The new rooms are modern and nice.
