Living in La Promenade while working in New Caledonia. Great hotel in the best location in the city. Decent pool and excercise facilities, however the internet connection is poor. Living and working outside of Noumea, a small or lagre group often stay overnight to go diving or just enjoy Noumea for Dinner/Lunch. We all prefer staying at La Prom. Lovely apartments, but the design of the buildings is such that only about 10% of the apartments ever get any sun on their balconies, and even those only get it at the very end of the afternoon. The hotel is in a central location close to all amenities & beach. Very spacious modern apartment , serviced every day & spotlessly clean. We liked coming back & sitting having lunch on the balcony overlooking the ocean. We did find New Caledonia very expensive. The boat trip out to the reef & shark feeding was brilliant. more
