Fair enough the whole city is run-down, and this hotel reflected that Noumea has seen better times. We stayed for a week at the Ramada. On our arrival, we were surprised to find the furniture and carpets in a neglected state with stains and deep scratches. Thankfully, after complaining and threatening to leave (having been told there were no other... More

our family first visited this hotel in 2007 and again with another family of four in Nov 2010. Both times we stayed in an Executive suite on the 11th floor. There are two bedrooms in these suites, the Master has a king bed (very very comfy) and a balcony overlooking the race track, very pleasant. The other has two single... More

Booked this hotel for a couple of nights over the Christmas break. The were a few problems straight away. Our booking said that we were supposed to get a hire car included in the price of the room, however they tried to charge us. Luckily we didn't make any plans with this in mind. Secondly, we booked a room with... More

We regret that the high occupancy of this stressful and busy period could not follow our brand standards as usually we are able to manage it in the regular time of the year. More

My wife and I just returned from 8 days at this hotel in Noumea. All I can really say is for anyone thinking about going to Noumea, DONT stay here!!! We arrived on Boxing day and to their credit they did check us in early (12.30pm). This is where the help ended. Our first room was on the 4th floor... More

The bar "Le Rendez-vous" located next to the lobby with 60 English speaking channels is unique at Nouméa, for this reason we expect that the 4 in rooms out of the 18 were enough, we shall not forget that New Caledonia is a French Territory with a majority of French guests. The unexpected technical problem in a time when the... More

I booked the Ramada for my husband and I, and sister with hubby and a toddler. The reviews of hotels in Noumea were so inconsistent and I found Le Meridien too expensive to book. I chose a chain because I thought it would give us some certainty around quality. I could not have got it more wrong. I dont know... More

When we arrived we were at first impressed because they allowed us to upgrade to a huge room with balcony for only about $50 USD more per night, but after that the service went downhill. Breakfast was good, but the second day we ordered it wasn't delivered to our room after 45 minutes of waiting (only ordered bread, jam, and... More

LOCATION The immediate vicinity of the hotel is uninspiring: narrow, crumbling footpaths and a car park. But just after the roundabout at the top of the road (about 12 minutes walking from the hotel) is the main street of Anse Vata with its beaches, restaurants, shops, a bank and the useful Tourist Info office right in the middle. We also... More

So I have to start this review by saying the staff are very friendly and for the most part, extremely accommodating when it come to issues a traveler might have. The location of the hotel is, in my opinion great! Very close to the beach as it is to several stores and bank machines in order to buy food for... More

We (3 adults) booked a 2-bedroom suite on the 7th floor for 5 nights, and stayed for 7. We had views in both directions, from the lounge room towards the beach with its windsurfers, and from the bedrooms over a racetrack (Ramada calls it the lagoon view, because there is a small lake at the racetrack) with hills in the... This year we decided to spilt our holiday between Noumea & Port Vila and found it to be a very rewarding adventure. The Ramada was a great hotel with plenty to offer, especially with a young family and a revolving restaurant. The food was a excellent and plenty to offer, with a number of choices for simple snacks, the staff... More
