At over AUD$300 per night you would expect much more. Filthy rooms where lights don't work and power sockets hanging out of the wall. A death trap. Service is ok but everything about this hotel is overpriced. Don't stay here.

Just had a week in new guinea and stayed at gateway. Everything went perfect with our room, food andservice was great. I would reccomend anyone stay hear if going to new guinea!!! I will be returning next year and definitely stay at gateway
