The rooms are nice but the food and drinks are terrible. We had lunch in the hotel and my mom had to send her salad back and we ordered margaritas up to the room and they had so much salt INSIDE the drink that they were undrinkable. I would never stay there again. More

Outside it's the dirty streets of Asuncion. Inside it feels like you've been transported to a different world. I can't fault this hotel: breakfast was excellent, rooms large and comfortable, staff always on hand. We didn't have dinner there but I wish we had. More

Stayed here for five nights and really enjoyed my stay. Clean large rooms and excellent service. The cleaning ladies were really efficient and went through the room changing towels surely 3 times a day. Also the hotel provides courtesy massage after 3 nights of stay. (very welcome after days of conferences). The lunches for 200 participants were served quick and... More

Friends treated me to a wonderful lunch at thsi hotel. The dinning room is stylish, classic and so comfortable when it's hitting 40c outside. The service is spot on and the food.. well presented, servved well and delicous and the price.. out of this worl £16.00 for three courses, flowing white wine and water and coffees. WE had to return... More

I selected this hotel based on reviews from the fellow Tripadvisor travellers, as usual. And, as usual, I was not disappointed. Great location for visiting the old town and although not far from the shanty towns it still felt safe even at night. The area becomes kind of red district after dusk so if you want to avoid being accosted... More

Hotel is in the downtown of Asuncion, the city is very quiet and safe (compering with another latin american countries) so you can walk around even at night, just of course be carefull with the place you visit. The hotel has a great stuff, always helpfull and cooperative. Nice rooms and buffet are goods. More

The hotel is excellent. Old style but everything brand new. Amazing service, except the room service for food. Located at city center, not the best place for leisure, but perfect for business. Free transport to/from airport. If you stay at least three days, there is a free massage. Great and roomy rooms with nice common areas. More

I spent 2 nights at this hotel the last week of May 2009. Everything was just perfect: great reception upon arrival with complimentary drink in the bar, big and clean rooms, many tv channels in English, free Internet, free 1/2 massage if you stay 3 nights, good breakfast, friendly service from all staff and a very good and safe location.... We stayed here for 3 nights on our honeymoon. We spent 4 weeks travelling across South America so we didnt want to spend more than €100 any night on accommodation. This hotel was by far the best value hotel we stayed in. The hotel is advertised as a 5* but it is more a 4 1/2 * by European standards.... More

Very classy Hotel in the Financial Center of Asuncion. The rooms are very large and nicely decorated. Housekeeping is wearing the traditional uniforms of maids. (Cant imagine working in them all day) Everything looks clean and the staff is very friendly. The Breakfast is good and the Restaurant it is served in very cozy. I am a very critical shopper,...
