We stayed at the Platypus for two weeks and found the owner to be the best we have ever stayed with.The rooms and bathrooms were basic but always very clean.Breakfast is included in the price and there is free coffee all day.All in all a great stay.

Platypus is well-situated in La Candelaria but the street is a little noisy - I think this is something hard to avoid in a city like Bogota. Staff are friendly and offer good advice. Rooms are basic but clean although a little cold. Great for many types of travellers and the hostel seems popular.
