Spent only 2 nights at the hostel before moving on, but if required there is no reason not to stay longer. The establishment is quite new, so all the facilities are excellent. The managers are very friendly, and can assist to provide information with whatever type of holiday you are after. 5 stars!

I expected a backpackers hostel would give the chance to meet other travellers...not here also some information about the area, what to do, some bars or nice restaurants etc, no information about any of that stuff. Cold showers the first 2 days. Some of the staff were nice but most of them not, but it was clean. Anyway, after been... More

I've traveled through most of Colombia and have stayed in probably around 30 different hostels. In Bogota alone, I've stayed in about 4 different hostels. I stayed in Masaya for a week straight and it was a terrific experience. Here's what makes Masaya so great: - Great staff.. very friendly and helpful - Spotless cleanliness... it's a brand spanking new... More

I stayed at The Cranky Croc Hostel since it was the best rated hostel on hostelworld, however i stayed 2 nights and it was over priced for what it was. I would not recommened it, after that I went to about 20 hostels (seriously) in he Candelarria and this one is by far the best! everything is new, the living... More

From the initial point of contact via email to arrange my... More

A great hostel in the historical center of Bogota owned by three young french guys. The hostel itslef is gorgeous, and the rooms are really comfy (I haven't slep in the dorms, but they look pretty sweet). The owners are very friendly and they helped me out a lot as I was looking for a flat in Bogota: they clearly... More

Great staff with good spirit, fun and good information about sites and attractions. On the esthetic side its has an old new design with lots of style. The... More

Perfect place to stay in the middle of Bogota. Very cool activities and you can really chill out around the BBQ. I advise you the cocktails of the bar (especially the capirinha), perfect when you play pool.
