La Quinta Colonial is nicely located in La Candelaria, with shops and attractions nearby. The staff was extremely friendly and made me feel at home! Hot water in the showers and free breakfast (although a bit light: scrambled egg + croissant + juice). It was cold as it is in Bogota but the staff can provide you with extra blankets.... More

Very neat, familiar hostel, very very clean, very close to every tourist attraction and yet very quiet! I slept in a dorm and I found the price-quality relation one of the best I found in Latin America, especially for the excellent breakfast (fresh-made fruit juice and fried eggs with bread and coffee). I would return there any time I go... More

This hostal has bit of confusing location/name. The name is Colonial la Quinta but on Tripadivsor it is only Hostal La Quinta plus the photo on tripadvisor isn't from the hostal that I went to but the address is 13A 1-23 but in La Candalaria. Not sure if there are two places mixed up here but..... Anyway, when you get... More

The hostal was nice and the owners were great. The only down part is they advertised a private bath which they don't have and they didn't clean up the rooms when we were out and we had to change our own sheets. Overall, the place was extremely quiet and pleasant and would go back again if they had a private... More

Very comfortable, tasteful contemporary while colonial decor, super clean place to stay in the heart of Candalaria. A fabulous deal! $10 for the emaculate hostal rooms and $20 for a shared bath. I stayed for weeks at a time. As a woman traveling alone it was very safe. The staff, Edwin (manager) and Cezar are wonderful. They are so kind... More

La quinta is a hostel in a great location, since it just opened they always have free rooms. It is an old house but very well decorated. And it serves well to the purpose. The guy there didn't make me feel welcome but I assume he is just learning the business. They have 3 computer with internet that you can... More

The hostel is one block away from "Chorro de Quevedo" square. You can walk all around Candelaria historical center cause everything is close. There are plenty of bars and restaurants near the hotel. Rooms are fine, and the hostel is clean. It has three bathrooms, and four showers. Hot shower 24/7 and It also has a Sauna. The staff is... More
