I was doing overnight in Bogota Colombia. the options were a small crowded expensive hotel close to the airport or an expensive hotel in the north of Bogota... I choose Hotel Casa Paulina, an inexpensive hotel well located, not too far away from the airport. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable... The group of people at the reception's... More

Managed by the owner, a basic and safe place good for a short stay in Bogota. Its environs are not necessarily the best places in Bogota but just poor, not crime ridden. If you want to visit the d city and Candeleria , you don't even need a cab, just spend some time and learn to use the metrobuses. Not... More

Casa Paulina is cheap and adequate, and that's what makes it good. The manager Doris, is very nice, and the rest of the staff are pleasant. They sincerely try to help you. The location is very convenient, being just 2 or 3 blocks from the transmilenio. Some might describe the neighborhood as sketchy. I can see why they would say... More

I was looking for a single room that was not in a youth hostel or a love motel and was not too expensive either and this hotel fit the bill nicely. It is located in the Chapinero neighborhood which is not the swankiest but neither is it the worst in Bogota. Nearby, there is a supermarket, safe ATMs to use,... More

Good security and a decent location, rooms small but clean and generally ok. Friendly staff. Near to Transmilenio line. Decent price for Bogotá.

After visiting Bogota for more than 12 years, I have at last found the best place to stay in a city where for the most part, accommodations are expensive and rather ordinary. Casa Paulina is the exception. Value for money is fantastic and the staff are very pleasant and always anxious to assist. Security is very good, TV with many... More

When we came there and asked about a room at the back the lady at the reception immediately told us we would be better of at another place nearby much more quiet, and much more quiet it was, it was also much further from the center of chapinero then casa paulina, it was casa sarita. So after reading all the... More

I've liked to get there considering the really interesting reviews found here, so I've required transportation from the airport to the hotel but it never arrived. Beign at midnight on the Bogota airport not having a place to rest so you have to start working the next day isn't so nice.

I´ve read so many a comment on this site about Casa Paulina, than I decided to try. The night for about US$ 30,00 and the transmilenium nearby, besides being in the midterm between La Candelaria and the Northern Zone, were decisive to my choice. The Chapinero neighbourhood isn´t properly beautiful, at least that part. It´s actually ugly and dirty, but... More

My fiancé and 1 stayed for a week's time at Casa Paulina and found the staff very helpful. They are so welcoming and show concern for any requests you may have. They went over and above what we'd call excellent service by offering to accompany us to the bank when we had issues, or walking us to restaurants if close... More
