A good three star hotel option at the touristic area of Llampu street. Stylish interiors, good size rooms and decent breakfast. Good restaurant. On the negative side: street noice, lack of elevator and poor room service. Problems paying with credit cards during check out, as some major cards were rejected by the hotel. No internet connection during my whole stay.... More

My girlfriend and I stayed here off and on when traveling around Bolivia last year, using the hotel as a a sort of home base. The staff are excellent and very helpful. Most mornings I was down chatting with reception on how to get somewhere, on bus schedules, or how to avoid the latest strikes in the city. La Paz... More

My wife, a friend and I stayed at this Hotel in late April 2012. We wanted a triple room and got a fantastic suite on the top floor with two bedrooms. The rooms are well furnished and very clean. The staff throughout the hotel were fantastic. I left my camera charger in a previous hotel and got them to send... More

Oasis from the frantic and edgy city of La Paz. Once inside this property you felt safe from the apparent dangers that linger in this unique city. The rooms were inviting with wall tapestries depicting Bolivian culture. They even provided little gifts of tiny model dolls in Bolivian traditional dress, which now sit on our sidetable at home as memory... More

The Staff were very welcoming and on hand to answer any questions and to be of service. The rooms were lovely, clean and comfy. Loved the peruvian pictures hanging on the wall and also the bed head. They have a restaurant that serves breakfast and dinner. The breakfast is included in the price and they were lovely. the dinners were... More

I really did enjoy my stay at the Rosario Hotel even though my first impressions were clouded by the most debilitating headache ever! Our group flew into La Paz from Asuncion late at night. Even in the short period between landing and the drive into the city, the effects of altitude sickness were making themselves felt. We headed straight to... More

Impeccable service, friendly manner, out-of-the-way helpful staff and well-appointed rooms with their own iPod docks and heaters (needed for the chilly high-altitude nights!) make Hotel Rosario a real traveller's treat. Common area with herbal tea and reading materials on Bolivian culture make for a good break and the inhouse Turisbus staff are super-friendly and will go out of their way... More

We spent 3 nights at the Hotel Rosario on Av Illampu in March 2012. Almost everything about the hotel was exceptional. Our room was spacious and well equipped, the breakfast (included) was plentiful, and the location, on the edge of the markets, extremely convenient. But the most impressive feature of the hotel was its attention to customer service. The staff... More

We had a room off the courtyard on the first floor and it was roomy, comfortable and a little quirky (with 3 dimensional pictures of llamas, pervians cooking, etc. Very homely and the only hotel we have stayed in, in South America so far, which had an iPod player/charger in the room. Having ventured out to find a restaurant on... More
