we loved this very inexpensive, fantastic hotel in La Paz and added a second night there, and then returned for a third night , ahead of a morning flight. we hadn't planned to spend much time in la paz but A La Maison was a great haven for us and we would highly recommned it.

After a long day of walking around La Paz, it was incredible to come back to my beautiful room at A la Maison. The decoration is homey and it's a quiet area. If you want to have a great night of sleep you must stay here.

Small hotel with excellent accommodations ! A little off the beaten path but well worth it! Bread and OJ in the am is amazing!!! Just be aware that the cabbies in La Paz have trouble finding the place and may want to charge more then they should- Only pay between 8-10 B's from down town La Paz
