Great location on the tip of Punta del Este! Walk to restaurabts, shops, port...right in front of lighthouse, "el faro." Very comfortable and a great value. Definitely recommend and would stay there again.

Located in a very calm residential neighborhood, yet walking distance to restaurants and a few attractions. Great staff, very friendly, polite, pro-active and willing to help. Great price for what it offers. The bathroom and the bedroom wall behind the shower had a little mold, but nothing that bothered me.

We arrived into Punta del Este and started looking around. Many hotels are closed during the winter. The Smalleast Hotel was inexpensive, had a nice breakfast. Most importantly, friendly helpful staff, who were always smiling and willing to help. Computer in the lobby, good location near the light house, comfortable rooms: all necessary for a quality stay.
