We stayed here for three nights recently and the Red Wind Inn is located in a very nice part of PDE. The staff makes every effort to make sure your visit is memorable, and your every comfort is met. From the wind chimes tinkling in the yard to the spotless rooms, white, fresh linens, homemade breads and delicacies you will... More

We spent one week at Red Wind B&B and had a superb time with Estelle's team, great service and hospitable staff. Definitely a strong recommendation.

This B&B is in a quiet location of Punta but that does not take anything anyway from it. Beautiful garden, good sized rooms, very friendly and helpful staff and most importantly the home cooked bread and pastries.... All made for a fabulous stay. You will need a car I'd you stay here.

Look no further for the best place in PDE. This small BnB is off the beaten path but near the beach and the bus line. The hosts went over and above to make us comfy. The room are 5* and the breakfast was superb. Cheese, ham, fruit, coffees, teas, homemade buns, breads and jams! Back the hosts - can’t say... More

A friend and I were desperate to find a place to stay in Punta. These guys were very accommodating. The location is pretty good, but you'll need a car. You'll want a car in Punta anyways. And be sure to go to Jose Ignacio!

First, if you're looking for the Punta party atmosphere this isn't gonna be for you. However, if you're looking for a quiet, clean, comfortable place with a great staff and wonderful breakfast (fresh fruit, juice, alfahores, bread, etc.), nice pool, and enjoy walking, then this is for you. The location is approximately 5K from the point and 1K from Playa... More

We stayed at the Red Wind for 2 nights and loved it. The house and our room was very comfortable and cozy; the owners were very welcoming, and Violeta, the housekeeper, took good care of us. The room was very clean and felt like being at home. The neighborhood is very quiet and filled with gardens and trees. A nice... More

Had a lovely stay at Red Wind B&B. It is a way out of Punta Del Este centre (about 10mins in taxi (~210 Ur pesos)/1hr walk along the beach) but in a quiet residential area and ideal if you have a car. Best to get bus to Maldonado (stop '13' - ask driver) and then a taxi from the country... More

We stayed here for 3 nights. The service was excellent, an extremely helpful and friendly group of people. The homemade breakfast was really fantantastic with fresh homemade juices and cakes. Very quiet and peaceful, the pool was great, but location a little outside of town. Daytime close enough to walk but at night needed to get taxis in and out... More
