OK. It is a good hotel, but not anything special. The lobby is nice and the rooms are good size and clean. The alcohol is sold, but at a crazy rate!

We stayed here for 2 nights in January 2006 before moving to the Movenpick. Overall it is a reasonable place to stay. It is quite a well established hotel. The staff were very friendly. Our main objective was to tour around Sanaa so we didnt spend much time in the hotel itself.

Nice hotel not far from city centre, you can walk from the hotel to the market and to old Sanaa. We stayed 2 nights at the end of our stay in Yemen. It was nice to be able to relax by the pool. The service is spotless and even though it's expensive, you get what you pay for.

There are only 3 hotels on Socotra and this is the best one--although it has nothing to do with the upscale Indian chain the "Taj".
