I stayed here in May, and we were one of the only guests in the hotel given the conditions in Syria. However, things were quite normal in Damascus during our time there and we had a terrific time in Seidnaya, Damascus, and Bludan where we traveled. Overall, the hotel is wonderfully decorated and has a beautiful touch. The breakfast is... More

The Beit Ramza gave us one of the most pleasurable experiences in our lives. The hotel itself is charming. I have never seen anything like it. All of the rooms are around a courtyard, abundant with trees and plants. Also, the courtyard has great seating, and a nice fountain. The rooms are tastefully decorated, and you feel as if you... This Hotel is a old tipical, amazing damascene House. Our bedroon as wonderful, with gorgeous furniture and magical atmosphere. The staff was nice and very kind, we really understood the meaning of the famous syrian ospitality. the location is perfect, in the best part of the Old City. The breakfast was very fresh and rich. The only problem was that... More

My wife and I stayed for a couple of nights in October. The room was very nice and clean, plumbing was fine, and the breakfast was about average, with freshly prepared eggs to order. The staff was very friendly, competent and helpful with car rental help, dining recommendations, etc. WiFi had limited range - worked fine near the reception desk,... More

Overall a great boutique hotel we ended up at because our travel agent booked us a room in a sold out hotel! What luck! This hotel had great service (they only have a few rooms), but we had a chef prepare us fresh breakfast in the morning and the place was a hidden gem from the polluted streets of Damascus.... More

-Hotel itself is a beautifoul Classic Syrian House full of details of style. -Location is good, near BAB TOUMA, accesible by car til you arrive at an alley ( somehow difficult to locate but in fact with a yellow plate to follow). Prepare your map in advance as taxis don't know the place: have a card with the name in... More

By the time that we had arrived in Damascus, several less favourable reviews had appeared on tripadvisor and I was feeling a little apprehensive about the four night stay I had booked. Beit Ramza during our stay was delightful and quite a perfect oasis. As I had read that the hotel could be difficult to locate, I had made inquiries... More

It is a small hotel which was a traditional Syrian house and they changed it to Hotel. Well decorated and very clean. The wireless internet only works in lobby. staff are very friendly and I felt at home. I will stay there and no where else in my next trip.

We stayed at this hotel from 2-4 June. Our rooms were both beautfiully decorated and the service was great. The hotel is in the center of the old city in a great location. The staff and owner are wonderful and it was a great experience for a first time visitor to Damascus coming from New York City. I would reccomend... More
