Great value for money, rated as a two star hotel but really offers more than what its rated as. The rooms were neat, staff was excellent and the hotel is situated close to the Cornish and the Golden souk. Comparatively to rooms I have stayed in KSA it was much better. What sets a hotel apart for me from the rest is... More

Well behaved staff, a very stereotype kind of a hotel with not much to talk about is La Villa in a nut shell. The rooms are old and basic. Although they look clean you might catch a few cockroaches around. The facilities are also very normal and the complimentary breakfast is just about ok to fill your tummy however is highly... More

Stayed 2 nights and it was fine, old rooms but clean. Friendly staff okay breakfast. Location is in a poor/run-down area but it safe. Cheap restaurants in the neighbourhood. Close to the Cornish, museum of Islamic art and airport.

The hotel itself is nothing special, but the location is superb, in the Old Doha, close to the souq. The best of this hotel are the prices. Let's say that is a good solution for a long stopover between two Qatar Airways flights, but probably is not the best for a long stay. Breakfast is quite regular, wi-fi in rooms... More

Price was good. staff are nice, very helpful, and always smiling. On the other hand room was cramped that the TV was on the comodino! The bathroom is also small that it would be very hard for an obese person to sit on the toilet! really. Internet WiFi signal was very weak and speed was very frustratingly slow, and it... More

We stayed here only one night on a long layover at Doha airport. Our taxi driver took us right to the hotel from the airport for 27 Qatari Rials. The hotel is in a back alley, but very near the large souk (5 mins walk, 10 mins walk to Corniche). The hotel staff were welcoming and spoke English. There is... More

After booking this hotel online, I wasn't very happy with it. Me and my partner tried to call several times to request information about a visa through the hotel (as it's supposed to work in Qatar) but they hanged up on us at least 5 times and when they finally spoke to us was to say to send an email... The Location for me was good, Near the Souq Wakif and close to friends. Good to have Internet and good service when i needed it. Didnt try any room service as i wasn't there for long enough. I would use again but know what to expect.
