The Safir Heliopolitan is a 2 star property and not a 5 star property by any measure. The Hotel is not clean, the "Deluxe Double Room" (which I booked) was marked with stains on the walls and the carpets, bed linens were not clean, the bathroom was the size of a closet and also not clean (shower curtain mildew, etc.)... more

Clean and good location BUT: No international news channels (no Al Jazeera English, no BBC, no CNN, etc). Very poor yet expensive internet service. Add 20 USD to the price of the room for WIRE internet. NO WIRELESS.
